Studio has two ways to find things: search for community content, and the command menu for Studio pages.
Did you know you can run these searches through our MCP server too? Try asking: “Search our posts and comments for anything about onboarding.”
The search box at the top of the Studio sidebar searches your community’s content. Results are grouped into three tabs:
  • Posts - top-level messages from your activated channels and community site.
  • Comments - replies within threads.
  • Resources - items in your content library.
Results are paginated and can be sorted by relevance (the default) or newest. Click any result to open it in the relevant Studio page.
Search covers content that has been synced to Tightknit, which means activated channels only. Messages in channels that were never activated are not indexed.

The command menu (Cmd+K)

Press Cmd+K (Ctrl+K on Windows) from anywhere in Studio to open the command menu. The command menu takes you to any Studio page you have permission to open, including pages that are hidden from the sidebar such as Slack channels and the Activity feed. It matches on keywords as well as page names, so typing theme finds Branding and typing invoice finds Billing. From the command menu you can also:
  • Search for a member and jump straight to their profile.
  • Start an action, such as creating an event or a content resource.
The command menu only lists pages your role can reach. If a teammate cannot find a page you told them about, check their role under Access and roles before assuming the page is broken.
