What you can configure

  • Blocked bots - keeping automated accounts out of your community content.

Search engine visibility

When search engine discoverability is enabled, Tightknit includes a member profile in your sitemap only when the member is active and has public activity. Public activity means a published post or reply in a public, listed Feed. Bot profiles, deactivated members, and members without public activity are not included in the sitemap. Their profile, Group, Achievement, and Award pages remain available by direct link when your site’s access settings allow it, but they tell search engines not to index them.
