You can access the global settings for Events by clicking the Settings button under the Events module in your Tightknit app home. In the Event Settings panel, you will be able to configure:
  • Events List Page - if disabled, the Events List route will not be present or accessible in the companion site, including in the navigation sidebar
  • Registration Button Text - the text shown within registration buttons for registration-enabled events
  • Event Unregistration - when enabled, users will receive an option to remove themselves (unregister) from an event once they have registered. When disabled, users will not see this option.
  • Event Reminders - when enabled, event participants and registrants receive reminder DMs prior to the event starting. You can set multiple reminder times per event in the event registration settings.
  • Add to Calendar Button - controls whether the “Add to Calendar” button appears on events. When enabled (the default), an “Add to Calendar” button is shown on event announcements, the events list menu, and registration confirmation messages, allowing members to save the event to their personal calendar. When disabled, the button is hidden across all event surfaces.
  • Events Page Banner Image - displayed at the top of the Events page on the companion site. Only available when your community has a companion site. For the best results, use an image with dimensions of at least 827 x 192 px. Very tall images may be clipped. Create with Canva template →
