In the Update Feed modal, you’ll be able to edit the same values as the Feed creation settings.
Updating a Feed’s slug will change the URL of the Feed. This will break any links to the Feed that have been shared and may negatively impact SEO.

Managing Feed members

Feeds with Members Only visibility restrict access to a specific set of members. By default, this member list mirrors the connected Slack channel’s membership and stays in sync automatically as people join or leave the channel. Admins can also manage a Feed’s member list directly from Studio, which is useful for adding site-only members who are not in Slack or for fine-tuning access without changing the Slack channel.

Viewing Feed members

Open a Feed’s detail page in Studio by clicking its name in the Channels & Feeds list. The Members card shows the current member list for the Feed.

Adding members

  1. Click Add Members on the Feed’s Members card.
  2. Search for community members by name or email.
  3. Select the members you want to add and confirm.
Members added through Studio gain access to the Feed on the community site immediately.

Removing members

Use the overflow menu on a member row in the Members card to remove them from the Feed.
If a member is still in the connected Slack channel, you cannot remove them from the Feed in Studio. Remove them from the Slack channel first, and Tightknit updates the Feed membership automatically.

Archive Feed

To archive a Feed, select the Archive Feed option within the ••• dropdown menu for an active Feed. Archived Feeds are no longer active and will no longer sync content from Slack to the Community Site. Archived Feeds do not count towards your active Feeds limit. To un-archive a Feed, select the Unarchive Feed option within the ••• dropdown menu for an archived Feed. You can only unarchive a Feed if you are within your active Feeds limit.
The archive/unarchive activity of a Slack channel does not affect the connected Tightknit Feed.
