# Limitations

> Limits and compatibility of the Tightknit platform

## Platform

* A workspace can have up to 100 channels [activated with Tightknit](/channels-and-feeds/activate-channel)
* If the [workspace permission for message editing and deletion](https://slack.com/help/articles/115004868646) is **disabled**, the Tightknit app is not guaranteed to function as expected. The Tightknit Slack app is designed for responsive interaction based on the ability to edit and delete its own bot posts.
* You may not use Slackbot (i.e. user with id `USLACKBOT`) as a user within any user select UI in the Slack app or any user ID inputs in the APIs. Slackbot is a special user that exists across all Slack workspaces and is not guaranteed to work correctly with any user-related Tightknit features.
* Tightknit cannot track changes within the Slack workspace that may have occurred if the app was uninstalled and reinstalled at a later date.

### Browser Compatibility

Tightknit community sites and Slack app features are supported on **the latest two versions** of:

* Google Chrome (Desktop & mobile)
* Mozilla Firefox (Desktop & mobile)
* Safari (iOS & macOS)
* Microsoft Edge

<Note>
  Additionally, most other modern **Chromium-based browsers** are supported, such as:

  * **Brave**

  * **Opera**

  * **Arc**
</Note>

⚠️ **Internet Explorer is not supported.**

Users with older browsers may encounter visual glitches, emoji rendering issues, or fail to load interactive widgets. Update to a modern browser for full functionality.
